FTUK is a grant making body established to support higher education, healthcare and disaster relief primarily in Pakistan.

FTUKs operating model is based on the three core values:

• Maximum transparency in its fundraising and disbursement activities.

• Minimum fundraising and admin costs to maximize the portion of donation that reaches the ultimate beneficiaries.

• Allow active participation by donors in Trust management and activities.

Generally a significant portion of donation is spent in commissions and admin costs and monitoring the effective use of the donation proves to be very difficult. In contrast, donating through FTUK gives you a collective voice and enables you to efficiently select the right beneficiaries and monitor your donations closely.

We encourage donors to get involved with the Trust management and decisions. Level of your involvement is restricted only by your wish -

• You can choose to donate and get regular reports on funding and progress of beneficiary, or

• You can become part of the Fund Management committee and actively participate in deciding the beneficiaries of the donations or

• You can become a Trustee or support the donors and beneficiaries management teams and help with general admin of the Trust
